The Story Behind Mail Call Greetings
I’m Thelma Kat Ferry, a proud Navy mom and the heart behind Mail Call Greetings. The idea began when I found myself searching for just the right cards to send my son during Officer Candidate School, Supply Corps School, and Submarine School—cards that could offer encouragement, share a little humor, celebrate a milestone, or simply remind him that home was never far away.
When I couldn’t always find cards that spoke to those moments in Navy life, I was inspired to create them myself. That idea grew into Mail Call Greetings.
Today, my hope is to help other Navy families stay connected through all the moments that come with military life, both big and small—and to make it a little easier to send a piece of home wherever duty takes their loved ones.
